A user captures a photo or video with an on a public blockchain registered device. These photos or videos are watermarked on-device within a secure, trusted execution environment making use of the private device key and then stored locally or elsewhere.

secublox has been selected as a finalist for the FUNKE Deepfake Challenge by SPRIND for its innovative approach for deep fake prevention and detection. In collaboration with the University of the Bundeswehr and IABG, secublox goes beyond traditional AI-based deepfake detection by integrating a multi-layered end-to-end solution that combines trusted hardware, cryptographic watermarks, and blockchain technology. This cutting-edge solution ensures the authenticity of digital content from capture to verification, embedding tamper-proof watermarks using Trusted Execution Environments and enabling secure, immutable proof of origin through blockchain-based validation.
